This lovely collection of handcrafted rag dolls is created around the concept of family, and the bond that ties us all together. The Bonikka brand came out of a beautiful family tradition that originated in 1895 when the great grandfather of Mano Sheriff, the founder of the company, gifted his daughter a gorgeous porcelain doll as she left home and began a family of her own.

Inspired by the sense of enduring family love and support portrayed through this heirloom doll, Mano Sheriff wanted to share this experience with younger girls and boys as they begin the journey of discovering who they are and how they relate to the world around them, and so Bonikka was born.

Bonikka’s collection of meticulously crafted rag dolls are designed to stand the test of time. From the ribbon braided into their hair to the buttons that buckle their shoes, every doll has their own story and their own style, handcrafted with the enduring love that accompanies its gifting.
